The Royals tore down their black/white scoreboard and the JumboTron this past off-season.

Instead, there’s a $8,300,000 hi-def video scoreboard. It’s even bigger than the one at the University of Texas. Ha! Take that, Texas!

It’s pretty amazing. I didn’t get a picture of the in-game display, but it’s filled with statistics and information about the game. I also didn’t take a picture of the left-field wall, which is now an out-of-town scoreboard.
